The University of Sharjah (UOS) will host the Second Sharjah International Conference on Mathematical Sciences (UOS-SICMS26) from January 14 to January 15, 2026, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah. The conference will provide a platform for researchers in pure and applied mathematics, mathematics education, and Mathematics for Data Science and Machine Learning to discuss recent developments and foster collaboration.

1. Abstracts should be no more than one page, including references. Submissions must be in English. Indicate your preference for an oral or poster presentation. Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee for quality and relevance.
2. Please complete and attach the Abstract LaTeX file (both LaTeX and PDF). You must use this form, or your abstract will not be accepted; a sample completed file is provided in the Abstract Submission form. Please do not edit it beyond adding your information. Keep all three files in one folder before writing the abstract in this source file.

Travel, Visa and Hotels

Travel

Sharjah International Airport is a short drive from the conference venue at the University of Sharjah (UOS), taking approximately seven minutes by taxi. UOS is about 20 minutes from downtown Sharjah. If you are traveling through Dubai International Airport (DXB), it will take approximately 25 minutes to get to the UOS campus and downtown Sharjah, assuming normal traffic conditions. Abu Dhabi International Airport is a two-hour drive from Sharjah.

Visa and Hotels

Before you travel to the UAE, please check your visa requirements and make sure you have a valid visa if needed. 

Conference participants should arrange their own hotel accommodation. Depending on the number of participants staying in a hotel, daily transportation between the hotel and conference venue may be arranged.
